Sources of inspiration
THIS IS HOW ART PAINTINGS WERE CREATED
I would describe my art as being modern with a timeless expression.
For me, it is important to create a personal and original art, where I go my own way and challenge my own ideas and creativity.
I am particularly inspired by the human figure, movement pattern and history. The bare natural body is the most interesting for me to depict. I use contrasts and complementary colors a lot.
Movement
Movement and dance are a great interest to me. The female dancers are in the more classical genre. Man also moves through life and is changing.
Love
Love, the relationship between the sexes and the feminine and masculine are favorite motifs. For me, the color red is passion, energy or romance.
Techniques
Many of my motifs are created from a mixture between something that arose spontaneously and a conscious process. This is typically done by me preserving what has arisen spontaneously, typically a quickly drawn line drawing, and then I combine it with the planned intentional line, which completes the picture.
The open story
The story behind the images is open to me – why does man kneel? For me, it is a story that does not end, but raises new questions. I hope this brief description of what inspires me has piqued a curiosity. The pictures only become really interesting when the audience themselves create their very own interpretations of the pictures, and even the title of the pictures is just for inspiration.
Black becomes white and white becomes black
THAT'S HOW HE WAS CREATED
The kneeling series started with a fascination with a very expressive painting of a beautiful naked man kneeling on a rock. The painting was painted naturalistically and was exhibited at the Louvre Gallery in France.
One day I grabbed the trowel and created a beautiful painting where black became white and where white became black. I myself am very fascinated by graphics, so this style formed itself this day in my creative mood.
I can be preoccupied with an exciting streak. Notice where the line for the chest and the thigh join.
Dancers
MOVEMENT IN ART
The dancing girls series was a graphic continuation of my black and white style.
I had acquired a ballet book and was fascinated by movement and the beautiful lines.
I tried blind drawing for the first time and magic happened. Subsequently, I processed my sketch and my first dancer was created. A very moving painting.

Subsequently, I experimented with black and white and the contrasts in the colours.
Later red came along and a different style was added with colors.

The Kiss
THE FASCINATION OF THE KISS
The series the kiss was created by the fascination of the atmosphere, the “tension” that a kiss can be.
The play between black and white is particularly expressed in the kiss, where the man’s and the woman’s lips merge.

THE RAW LINES
For centuries, artists have been fascinated by women and round shapes have been in focus.
The male body can do at least as much in art.
I am naturally fascinated by the masculine body and the more square “muscular” shapes take center stage.
The painting technique in these pictures is different.
Business cycles have always fascinated me in my own art and here something exciting arises in the masculine lines.
